Nokia 9 was planned to be unveiled on 19 January but the phone’s key specs have already been revealed through a US FCC website. The model number TA-1005 of the Nokia 9 is claimed to have 128GB storage and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Nokia 9 seems like a great device for those who do not like to compromise on storage. It will feature a 5.5-inch OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, and a dual camera with 12 MP and 13-megapixel sensors along with a 5-megapixel front camera sensor. The battery capacity of the phone would be 3250mAh and it will also have fast charging according to the FCC website.
Unfortunately, not much details about the possible connectivity issues and RAM have been provided on the FCC listing. There will be multiple models of the Nokia 9 and the model that has been unveiled on the FCC site is the TA-1005 variant. It will most likely be the top-end model of the Nokia 9 Series.
The render of the device was hinted on a Chinese Social Network website and according to that, the smartphone will have thin bezels along with a metal-finish body. The image also shows that the smartphone will feature a dual selfie camera along with two high-quality camera sensors on the rear end.
For more information about Nokia 9, we will have to wait for a few more weeks. The phone will be unveiled in January and most likely that is when we will have a complete look at the phone and its specifications. It is rumored that an event will be hosted by HMD on 19 January to unveil the brand new Nokia 9 and also a discussion on the upgrades of the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 will take place.
